The position will assist and support Spatial Data Scientists to administer and maintain in-house spatial databases, deliver products and support to the Geoscience Department as well as GIS and map services to the Project and Corporate teams. Job Description: Administer and maintain the centralized spatial database using GIS products to ensure that all stored data (both vector and raster) is well-updated, accurate, and well-managed to support all Merdeka Projects including data validation and quality control by doing coordination with Jakarta and Project team Assist in setup and developing collaborative mapping system using ESRI ArcGIS and opensource platform Perform data interoperability and manipulation on various data formats between GIS and other mining software to ensure data sharing works properly across the department Assist Geoscience team in spatial data acquisition, editing, performing spatial analysis, and visualizing (both 2D and 3D) based on requirements from Jakarta or Project team Assist in delivering GIS-related products consisting of data, map, or drawing; and data sharing (WMS, WFS, WCS) to all Merdeka departments both Jakarta Office and Sites Support site team in field data collecting and analysis using GIS product as well as provide on-site training (site travel required) Support in preparing and delivering GIS-related documentation (user guide, report, etc.) Requirement: Willing to be placed at Wetar Site (roster 4:2) Bachelor degree in relevant disciplines such as: Geodesy, Geomatics, Geography, or Geology is desirable from a reputable domestic university Demonstrated a minimum 1-3 years’ experience using GIS software (e.g: ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo), spatial database (PostGIS), and sharing platform (GeoServer, AGOL) Experience in the mining industry become an advantage Demonstrated interest/experience in GIS and spatial tools applied for mining or geoscience Have experience in the administration and maintenance of GIS tools including databases and desktop application Familiar with ArcGIS platform (AGOL, Survey123, etc.) and opensource (Input, Mergin etc.) Familiar with Geodatabase and GeoPackage Familiar with Datamine Discover or Python become an advantage Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimum supervision
